Now You're Talking Birmingham - Speech, language and communication multiagency conference
We want Birmingham to be an inspirational city to grow up in. One of the indicators of success is the percentage of children achieving the expected level of development in communication and language from birth and throughout their education.

Join Sue Harrison, Birmingham City Council’s Director of Children and Families Services, and professionals delivering a variety of speech, language, and communication (SLC) services who will demonstrate that when communication and language become "everyone's business", we can positively impact children's life chances.
We will also be celebrating the launch of our new multiagency-linked Now You're Talking Birmingham website.
Delegates will be able to attend two speech, language and communication-focused workshops during the conference. Workshops on offer include:

SEND Speech and Language Therapist Team – Alternative communication methods
Hearing Support Service – Supporting children with mild/ fluctuating intermittent hearing loss
The Area SENCo Team – Developing Communication and Interaction with Pre-verbal Children
The conference will be held at Midlands Arts Centre - MAC, Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham, B12 9QH on Wednesday 2 November 2022, 09:30-12:30 (registration from 09:00).
