Childminder Inclusion Network: Let’s Talk Inclusive Practice

A regular online networking event for Childminders across Birmingham to meet up, share good practice, support each other and find out information regarding the sector.

This session will provide an opportunity to explore and share inclusive practice ideals that recognise the needs of all children and how to implement them.

The belief that the uniqueness of children must be recognised in their early years and beyond is imperative, especially for those children who are at greater risk of experiencing inequality and discrimination.

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) states that every child is unique and therefore their learning should reflect this.

This session will invite childminders to share their experiences in delivering inclusive practice, explore what inclusion means in the early years, and discuss inclusive strategies that support children's participation.

If you would like to attend, please book your free place via the Eventbrite link below.

This is an online network meeting through Microsoft Teams. You will be provided with the web link to the meeting following the completion of your booking.

Dear Childminders,

We invite you to these network meetings to join together with other childminders, to share good practice, hints and tips, to share support with each other and to find out current information.

You may have found a useful resource, an idea, a website or an activity that may help other childminders in the city. These sessions will be tailored to what you would like them to be.

We will be arranging speakers and visitors to some sessions to discuss and inform us of other areas of work being carried out in the city.
