FREE WORKSHOP: Working with families to support speech, language and communication (SLC) for children with English as an additional language (EAL).

Bilingualism is an asset and the first language has a continuing and significant role in identity, learning and the acquisition of additional languages.

This free workshop will share tools and good practice to develop an inclusive setting for families with EAL.

Learning Objectives:
1. Influence positive partnerships with EAL families
2. Support EAL children’s English language development
3. Encourage a secure sense of identity in EAL children
4. Promote an inclusive EYFS environment in which ALL children feel they belong
