FREE WORKSHOP: Promoting a love of books and stories to ensure children reach a good level of development in speech, language and communication.

Enjoying books and reading stories from a very early age is crucial in the development of children’s speech, language and communication. This free workshop will explore ways in which you can encourage children to develop a love of books and reading.

Aim of this workshop:

• To explore how books are used in your setting

• To develop Practitioner's confidence to tell stories

• To develop strategies that encourage parents to use books with their children

• To reflect on and share good practice
