Understand how children learn and develop in the Early Years
Understand the impact of transition
Understand best practice for meeting the individual needs of young children
Be able to plan for individual babies and young children
Be able to work in partnership
The course takes 3 days to complete; all sessions are a full day (09:30 - 15:30) with breaks and study time allocated during each session.
Sessions will be delivered once a week, over the course of 3 weeks, with an additional week after the final session for all coursework to be completed.
Attendance is mandatory for all 3 sessions in order to complete this course.
Learners must be able to focus on the sessions for the full day, whether at work or joining from home.
