BEYN and the Developing Local Provision (DLP) programme, in partnership with School Improvement Liverpool (SIL) SEND and Inclusive Learning Team, are delighted to welcome staff across all settings in Birmingham to participate in three masterclass sessions.
The DLP initiative aims to enhance the work already being done by early years settings and mainstream schools in providing support to children in their local area.
These masterclass sessions are designed for early years practitioners, key workers, SENCOs and managers across the city.

More about the masterclasses
These masterclass sessions have been developed by SIL SEND & Inclusive Learning Team and Early Years Team, to promote professional dialogue around inclusion in the Early Years.
Each session will be delivered by School Improvement Officers using relevant examples of practice and expertise.
The three sessions cover:
Developing an enabling, inclusive learning environment
Developing effective partnerships with parents and carers
Inclusion in practice - putting the needs of children first
The suite of sessions makes up an extended programme of CPD, however, each session is ‘standalone’.
