November 2024 DSL Network Session(s) for setting managers and DSLs (Designated Safeguarding Leads)

The November DSL sessions will cover the following:

  • Updates to Legislation

  • EYFS Safeguarding Consultation: Outcome and future changes

  • Safer Sleeping Practices for Early Years Educators

  • Safeguarding Assessment 2023/2024 

We are also hoping that the new Domestic Abuse Education Lead for Birmingham Trust, Shameelah Hussain will be able to join us to give an overview of her role and how this fits in with Early years.

Target audience: Setting Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) and managers
